Thanks to contributions from participants at the closing worship of the PSD Annual Conference, and to the gracious response of the host congregation, White Bear UU Church, there are a limited number of scholarships available for Prairie Star youth and young adults to help offset the cost of attending Justice General Assembly.

Justice GA, June 20-24, 2012, in Phoenix, Arizona will be one of those events that stands as a milestone experience for Unitarian Universalists of all ages. We are so thrilled that these funds are now available. To extend the greatest outreach of these funds, if possible, we ask that interested youth and young adults also ask their congregations to contribute financially towards their General Assembly participation.

Scholarships are available for youth (grades 9 to 12 in the 2011-12 school year) and young adults (age 18 to 35). Apply online at http://www.psduua.org/JusticeGA/Scholarships. The first round of scholarships will be awarded based on applications received as of May 25, 2012. If funds still are available, additional scholarships will be awarded after that date.
