Janet Hanson

Director of Religious Education

Office hours 9-4 Monday –Thursday

Janet Hanson has been the DRE at WBUUC since 1992. Her background is in education and previous to this position she served as DRE with a congregation in Maryland . Her full time position includes managing our growing program for Nursery through high school youth. Jill Schwendeman

Director of Youth Programs

Jill holds an M.Div from the University of Chicago Divinity School. Before coming to WBUUC she was a fundraiser and also served in Chicago as director of two nonprofit agencies. Jill has worked with the youth of WBUUC since 2003. Jill works half time on programs for grades 7-8 and 9-12.
