White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church is a mid-sized congregation of about 480 members and 280 children and youth, located in Mahtomedi, a small town on the eastern side of the Twin Cities.  From mid-September through mid-June, we hold Sunday services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., with classes for children and youth held concurrently.  There’s a coffee hour between the services, with tempting home-made baked goods and lots of room for conversation and connection.  We have a nursery for infants and toddlers and active youth groups for junior and senior high school students. During the summer, we hold informal Sunday services (at 9:30 a.m. only) with childcare available for all ages.  Most summer services are followed by a delicious brunch, hosted in the home of a nearby member or friend.

On Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., you are invited to join us for dinner, and to stay if you wish for evening classes, programs and meetings.

We are a WELCOMING CONGREGATION, celebrating and affirming the active presence here of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and heterosexual members and friends, and their familes.

Our congregation is funded almost entirely by the generous contributions of members and friends, who are invited annually to make a financial “pledge” for its support.  Currently we employ a full-time Church Administrator, full- time Director of Religious Education, a part-time Directors of Music and Youth Programs, a part-timeRE Assistant and a part-time custodian, in addition to our full-time Minister. This year we are also fortunate to have with us a full-time Ministerial Intern.  Our annual operating budget is approximately $500,000.00
